Mr Clutch Heyward pinch hits in the 10th. Yes pinch hits! Wisdom on third one out. Hits a signature right side slow dribbler. Pirates score in their half and win.

Ross should be fired for using Heyward as a pinch hitter. I've lost all respect.

Heyward sucks, but honestly that's a pretty sweet play by the first baseman, and a great job of blocking the plate with the tag by the catcher.

Took a flyer on the Cubs +800 when they were down 6-2 in the 8th but had the bases loaded. Fuckers took the lead but then couldn't close it out.

Were you able to hedge it back to the Pirates after the leadoff HR against Robertson?

Probably could have but left the office and forgot about it until I got off the train. I heard the postgame when I turned on the radio and immediately thought it must have gone extra innings.

Speaking of the postgame, Zaidman was doing the highlights and recited another nonsensical sponsored ad that didn't make any sense in terms of what actually happened in the game. After the highlight of the Pirates scoring the walk-off winning run in the 10th he said "insurance runs brought to you by Geico" (or whatever company it was). There was no insurance run! For either team!

The MLB app radio archive goes well into or all ZZ post game. Absolutely no more post game phone calls as far as I can tell. Shill apologist ZZ deflecting the railing callers who snuck by the screener was radio magic. Not a Ross Nagy-like post game presser lovefest recently either. The scope of commercials are amazing even FFing.

Losing overshadowed by character and tremendous effort.
