I was always hoping to run into Steve out on the snowmobile trails in the UP, figuratively, of course. Love his music.

Do we need to call you Maurice?

Went to Red Rocks a few years ago, have a great time. One of the best outdoor venues around.

That should be good. I've been listening to some Steve Miller recently with Fly Like An Eagle. What a great song.

All was well. The St. Louis Music Park is an interesting venue, and it was a great time. Since it is north of town was able to avoid all the traffic heading in for Saturday events/Cardinals baseball, were able to set up seats and have a few pops in the parking lot before the show, and get back out easily.

I listened to a recent album of theirs and enjoyed it. I’d go see that live

Touring drummer and guitarist did not play on any of his albums...in fact the drummer after the show said this was his first organ trio group and he was loving it. Was a great night of music in Milwaukee last night at Shank Hall (yes, think Spinal Tap).

Looking forward to getting "Down with the Brown" in a few weeks. I'm either taking the 2pm or 3pm Metra NW out of Crystal Lake and walking from Clybourn to the Shed...wanna grab a couple beers in the area before hand? Deni$, BigW, or T-Bone will vouch for me...

Really a cool set. Nothing super rare but enough curveballs that I was surprised. Good mix from most of their albums too. The band was really on fire. They are always good, but I don't know if its the shorter "tours" or no back to back days or if they put in at in a ton of practice time or what, but this was perhaps the best I have seen them play together. In My Tree, Inside Job, God's Dice, & Down were real treats.

Normally, Evenflow is my pee song, but I'm glad I stuck around because Mike played almost the entire solo behind his head while standing on the stage monitors. Also, no political talk. A couple comments about the environment and that was it.

It was really fun. I still see them every chance I get, but absence makes the heart grow fonder. It had been 5 years since they last came around. It was just such a good time. Now I am more or less going to get aftermarket tickets Thurs for sure. Even if I'm behind the stage I think I just want to be in the building.
