That’s all the rage in homebuilding the last few years. Not MANY people care about long term quality these days. They just want their house NOW. My contractor Dad is transitioning to the prefab model now as he prefers to not deal with crazy ass customers anymore. I bought this place new 16 years ago. By far the best built house I have ever owned. My understanding is that they build the structure in a factory and set it up on sight. Chus hated Pulte and created the board meme. But I can tell you, they build solid homes. |

Yeah my youngest brother says they are just crap to be thrown up quick, but my old man says they are the same thing he does except the walls are pre built for the carpenter. |

When my wife and I went to Loveland, CO to look at houses last year it was all prefab construction. |

The walls are prebuilt. I have had zero issues in nearly two decades. Maybe it was luck. |
