Named Colin Kaepernick as the face of its "Just Do It" 30th anniversary campaign. I don't really give a shit about Kaepernick but the hysterics this will cause MANY is definitely worth it. |

From the way Ham talked, it will not be that hard to prove collusion and then the damages get tripled. |

But Nike has some of its own skeletons, probably literally, in its closet. I'm still a loyal customer, though. Favorite shoe. Certainly. |

I think it’s clear Nike is trying to use his notoriety for some reason. Maybe it will help Nike maybe not. Either way I don’t see how there is a slam dunk collusion case against one guy. Elden Ham and his opinions don’t carry much weight. |

I think it would be pretty unlikely 32 teams competing with each other would collude to ouster a QB that supposedly would help them. |

This should help fund all of Kaep’s causes. I don’t think he can pocket any of the money without looking bad. |

I think it would be pretty unlikely 32 teams competing with each other would collude to ouster a QB that supposedly would help them. Go listen to the interview on Friday. The burden of proof is much less than a criminal crime. It's not even the same as a civil case. IIRC they only need to prove that two teams colluded or that collusion is the reasonable explanation as to why not a single team offered him a contract. I don't recall everything from the interview but the impression I was left with was that Kaepernick is most likely going to win the case and whatever damages he gets will be tripled. Obviously, I am no lawyer but as someone who greatly dislikes the NFL, I was very encouraged by the interview. |

Problem is his salary was going down and NFL could argue this has helped him financially. Especially with this new deal. |

A motion to dismiss is a routine motion for an organization like the NFL. The fact that it was denied is pretty inconsequential to the defense of the lawsuit for them. It's not a "huge victory" for Kap like it's been portrayed. |
