Gotta give props to the Score for destroying AM1000 in the July radio ratings. Here are the PPM ratings for the last 4 Months:

April, WSCR 2.6, WMVP 1.9
May, WSCR 2.9, WMVP 1.8
June, WSCR 2.8, WMVP 1.4
July, WSCR 2.8, WMVP 1.2

AM 100? My radio doesn't go that low.

Also, preemptively, WMVP says you aren't looking at the demographics that matter. WSCR says numbers are numbers.

When the dayparts are released, WSCR will beat WMVP in every daypart. As usual, B&B will be the lowest rated show on the Score.

If true, goes to show B and B need more child rape talk as that brings in the listeners

I forgot my other argument called White Sox. WSCR says they would pull better numbers without it, WMVP says without it, they wouldn't draw flies.

This is getting pretty close to the pre Dan Mc Neil days of Huge and Lou at MVP...and I don't think it even slightly concerns ESPN.

Hard to understand why they keep B&B on the air. I listen to WSCR every day I can when Mac is on the air, but change the station to ESPN as soon as they are over with transition (and sometimes while in transition). I imagine many others do the same.

ESPN is a black hole. They don't have anything worth listening to. Besides their weak radio offerings, I think their tv gig is also past its prime. I suspect most serious baseball fans prefer to the MLB Network to Baseball Tonight. I find MLB's programming to be compelling because of all their live look ins and less scripted feel.

Alas, I listen to neither station now as I grew tired of M&H and got angry listening to B&B. That's the programming that's on during my drive times, and I just got sick of it all.

ESPN's studio shows for football/baseball/basketball may eventually be their undoing. They're just so awful compared to their counterparts (TNT's basketball show, MLB Network, NFL Network). I'd assume that 90% of America waits till after the shows are over to turn on the channel. All of their shows seem to be constructed the same way. They've even found ways to completely dull out Sportscenter.
