2 children? Do you know something about my wife that I don't know?

This day just keeps getting worse.

I think this is the one that gets Zook fired. A 3-week culmination of bad special teams, careless penalties, and turnovers galore. Even average discipline and special teams and the Illini are a minimum of 8-1, possibly 9-0.

They lost the last 2 games on special teams alone. They haven't broken a kick return of any type for more than 15 yards that I can remember (except for the one last week that was called back for an inadvertent whistle at the end of the game).

They'll finish out the year, probably go to a bowl game, and that will be the end of Ron Zook as an Illini.

Soon. They'd go with Petrino.

Eh... he's not showing too much here lately, either. He needs to get his head out of his ass and recognize that Scheelhaase is a running QB. If he wants to throw, they have to go with O'Toole.

They don't have the O-line to run the ball effectively.

I would have allowed it a month ago. He earned that. Now, not so much.

I know there are bigger issues, but the last play call was brutal. A run up the gut to set-up a far from chip-shot 43 yard FG, and it was only that short because the RB managed to gain 9 yards. He gets stuffed and they call timeout to try a 50 yarder.

I told you Ken, although I started to buy into the 6-0 start. Turns out my original analyses of the Illini was right.

Maybe Zook ends up a little further North in Dekalb?

If Mike Thomas is smart he will call mike Leach ASAP.
Imagine the big ten with Leach coaching the Illini scoring 50 points every week!

I'd take Leach in a second at U of I. I might even open up the coffers and make a donation of a few sawbucks to the alumni association.

This is the second year in a row that Iowa was outhustled, outcoached by a miserable team in Minnesota. Kirk needs to get his head out of his ass and learn to pound teams like this.

No thank you, the guy is an awful coach. He is a great example of how you can recruit lots of talent and underachieve consistently with it.

Minnesota is a team that has a lot of physical talent. It was a matter of time before Kill got them on the same page.

I think Penn State will go 1-2 over their last three games, (Ohio State, Wisconsin and Nebraska in some order). I'm guessing they win against Ohio State and then got demolished by Wisconsin and Nebraska. Still overachieved this season and are pretty overrated right now.

I don't think I'm going to watch the Purdue game this Saturday. I'm sure Bielema will take it out on Purdue for blowing two games in a row.
