Not that the NCAAWBB product is better, but a lot of leagues would love to have 10 good teams. |

Ionescu will continually throw ping pong balls in the first Bozo bucket. And she will probably still lose. |

Kinda lame, esp in 2024. 1973 understandable (sorta) that they'd take away a serve from Bobby Riggs and give Billie Jean (who MJ later memorialized in song) the doubles lines. But in 2024, we got dudes participating in women's sports now. Come on! Clark and Ionescu aren't standard-sized females. They're both pushing six feet. Hopefully if Clark does it next year she mans up and uses the NBA line at least. |

Funny to see the haters like Sheryl Swoopes and Jemele Hill offering their disrespectful opinions on Clark after she just set the NCAA scoring record. |

What'd they say? Swoopes: “If you’re going to break a record, to me, if it’s legitimate, you have to break that record in the same amount of time that that player set it. Right. So, if Kelsey Plum set that record in four years, well, Caitlin should have broken that record in four years,” Swoope said. “But because there’s a COVID year, and then there’s another year, you know what I mean? She’s already had an extra year to break that record. So is it truly a broken record?” (Factually incorrect…this is not Clark’s 5th year.) Hill (taking issue with Shaq saying Clark is best ever): “But best ever? I’m disputing that one.” I don’t have a problem with her having an opinion on the GOAT, but it seems contradictory to diminish Clark for not having won a title (yet), while at the same time saying Mahomes will be GOAT even if he doesn’t match Brady’s records. |

He only got 3 years because freshman weren't allowed to play. Maravich averaged 15.9 more points per game. I wonder how many people will say it is misogynistic to point out that Clark really doesn't deserve the record over Maravich. |

Dan Patrick said LSU looked at his shooting chart for his last year and if there was he would have averaged 54 points per game that year. |

According to the ghost of SI: Quote: Clark broke the all-time scoring record in her 126th career game, and her career total momentarily stands at 3,569. Plum racked up 3,527 points in 139 games .So what's the issue here? Honestly not following. |

She's making more money at Iowa than pretty much any WNBA player is. |

This is the kind of stupid debate people never used to have about women’s sports before Clark, so the existence of complaining about records is itself a sign of progress. |

veganfan21 wrote: Isn't Plum as well? Fine Ill amend . She’s white and being touted in a way that Plum never was . Did anyone even know Plum had the record prior to Clark breaking it ? Its certainly the first Ive ever heard her name . Or do you think Jemele Hill would be saying anything about it if Clark were black ? That Swoopes wouldve weighed in at all with her ignorant thoughts ? |

If Jimmer could get drafted top 10, CC's at least 2nd round. Her defense can't be any worse than Dame's when he first entered the league. Didn't Alford get drafted even? and all he did was stand in the corner and shoot 3's in college. |

It's kind of interesting in a time when so many are advocating for the idea that there is no difference between men and women athletically. The argument usually comes down to whether a Brittney Griner could whip some fat little white kid who bets the NBA from his couch. Brittney Griner could never play in the NBA. Imagine her trying to go up against Draymond Green or Boogie Cousins. It's absurd. But a specialty shooter like Clark or Ionescu may not be so farfetched considering the way the game is played today. |
