Iowa City, Kinnick Stadium 2:30 PM Saturday (I'll be there.)

Can Wisconsin beat ranked opponents back to back for the first time in forever?

Can Iowa move the ball against a tough Wisconsin D?

Who blinks first?

As much as my heart is screaming Iowa, my head is telling me Wisconsin pulls this out by a FG.

I'll give my analysis on this later in the week.

I think Iowa pulls it out... I think if it was at home in Madison that it would be a bit closer. Looks like the line is 5.5 in favor of the Hawkeyes. Stanzi is the Manzi.

Wisconsin put everything they had into last week's game. I think they will find running the ball much more difficult against Iowa and when forced to play catch up by passing, they fail. This will be a two touchdown difference.

Wisconsin looks to be due for the classic "letdown" game (see South Carolina last week). That being said, if they play like they did against Ohio State they should win handily.

Can I suggest that the loser leaves the board forever?

Loser has to make their kid go to Purdue.

How about the winner, as well.

I also blame you for our defense having zero pass rush too.

Seriously, Iowa has done a fantastic job against Watt. Key to the game for sure.

That run by Ball was better than anything I've seen out of the Bears' RBs...

Brutal time management by Iowa. Stanzi and Kirk are both dickheads.

Game was interesting. Too bad the wrong team won.

If IA plays even mediocre on special teams, they win by 10+ points. I know its not how Ferentz operates, but the ST coach should be feeling some heat this week.

That was an excellent game. Neither team showed up on defense but I think that was more to the fact that both offensive lines dominated the others front seven. Carmi owned Clayborn but Reiff owned Watt as well. Special teams did Iowa in for the most part between the fake punt, missed XP and missed FG but Wisconsin did what they needed to do to win. And yes, the clock management at the end was horrible. I'm still scratching my head on the spike/last TO. I don't get why they didn't spike so they could go to the middle of the field and have that timeout left. The kid kicker kicked a 57 in HS and not that i would have expected him to make that in a pressure game but you got to give him a chance to try.

I'm wondering if someone "accidentally" called a timeout. The offense was completely lined up, and the obvious call was a spike.

Stanzi throwing a dump pass in the middle of the field was definitely a head-scratcher.

I'll be rooting for Iowa next week, though!

I believe that TO came from the bench. As for the pass to the middle, yes, that was one that needed to either go into the ground or ARob needed to make damn sure he could get out of bounds before catching it.
