I haven't watched much of him ever but I hope he has more of a vertical game than I am seeing right now. Everything is short and to the running backs or tight ends. |

His wrs are quite average and slow, plus the field is shit apparently right now... This is a good critique though UMN. If he doesn't have experience throwing 25+ yds thats a caution area for me... Im a Barkley fan anyway... |

When you watch Luck be aware of his pocket presence. His patient movements in the pocket. The polished mechanics. He's more accurate than strong w/ his throws, but he is so heady that he's gotten away with just an above average arm. Everything I said makes me think of Peyton Manning... |

I'm sure he throws a fine deep ball. Some of the last few throws have actually been more down field. I get the feeling that he is going to be a statue in the pocket. I can see the Manning comparison. He is just going to stand there, check down and fire away every play. |

He can run a little bit too... At least a 4.7 40guy... Manning was admittedly a 4.9 on his best day... Ill nvr forget when he told DP that info in an interview... |

When he's throwing to Wayne, Garcon, and Clark next year w/ Manning calling his plays Im going to be worried for the rest of the league... All the rookie passing records would be introuble if that scenario plays out... PM could still come back next year tho... |

11/26/11... 28-14 win vs. Notre Dame... 20-33 233yds 4td 1int... Luck was impressive again on a horrendous playing surface... His rapport w/ the tight end position should be a big help @ the next level... |
