Went looking for a thread but didn't see one...must be buried in one of the compilation ones...

...anyways, just got my code for a beta a bit ago...game is almost downloaded. Will report on how it is once I play some but everything I've heard so far is quite lovely.

I'm hearing it's a ton of fun. Probably going to pick up the Xbox One when this debuts.

Seemed like it took two hours to download the demo...not sure what the size is but it has to be beefy...of course the gf woke up literally right after the download completed...so I only got in a few matches after my training was over.

First impressions: this feels very different from the COD series, which was one of my concerns. Also playing as a pilot is a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be (figured I would be bored until I could get a Titan...but wasn't the case)...the parkour stuff seems to make that part of the game a lot more interesting.

Finally, in the game mode I played in, once the match's outcome is determined, there is an epilogue where the losing team tries to evacuate the area while the winning team tries to prevent them from doing so...first match I missed my evac bird, while the second one I missed it...but they blew it up anyways, so it didn't matter.

Only played 3 matches so far, but right now the game is a mess...every match I played in had uneven teams (both in number of team members and the levels of the players)...I'm hoping this is more of a "tried to play it at 4AM and there still isn't a huge install base" but yeah so far this just isn't a very fun game.

It's a 50gb download or close to it.

As for the bolded thought....you're in a very small minority with that one. I'm sure it's because it was 4AM.
