Harbaugh CLEARLY wanted to go to the Chargers if Hub had this all the way back then. The Bears never had a shot.

Yeah pretty sweet time to be Harbaugh. Win the national championship at your alma mater. Get to leave their awful weather and head to San Diego where the weather is amazing and you have a really solid QB to build around.

Definitely a no brainer.

I am happy for him and will be cheering for the bolts. I have always kinda liked them from way back when I was a kid and thought their uniforms were nice.

But I doubt Harbaugh is fine reporting to some forty or thirty something old like Poles who has accomplished nothing in his career except sitting next to people who decided to draft Mahomes. Harbaugh is way more accomplished and bringing him in would likely mean Poles would have to cede power to Harbaugh. I can see Poles not looking at Harbaugh for that reason alone.

The Los Angeles Chargers actually relocated back to Los Angeles in 2017, after spending 56 years in San Diego. It wasn't their first time in the city, as they actually played their inaugural season in Los Angeles in 1960 before moving south.
