You don't understand the argument, of course, but should we go on with Goff's greatest hits?

Which staff at ESPN 1000 he could "throw hands with".

How much better and smarter he is than all of the listeners despite being unable to get through a year at Southern Illinois.

The NHL "doesn't look like America" so he doesn't like to watch or cover it.

Goff is really stupid. He has no original takes or interesting insights. He does a Bomani Jones impersonation. Bomani who tanks in every opportunity given to him.

I don't like Goff much as you know.

But he's better than that Carmen DeFalco. That guy is just an empty headed bimbo. Without a doubt, the worst sports radio host in Chicago sports history. Don't argue with me on this one. I'm right. Yet he's been doing it for 20 plus years.

Carmen is the worst.

No, but I’m happy to provide a detailed review if you like.

I listened to a couple episodes. It's not bad at all. I don’t see myself listening regularly, but if something happens I'll probably check it out.

why is cusak dressed for Bear weather on an 80 degree day? and what is with the gloves? Does he think he's the Artful Dodger?

Is that White Sox Dave the Karl Pilkington of Barstool? Every clip I have ever seen or heard him in, he is saying or doing something stupid. It's never anything that makes me really want to listen to Barstool.

There is no doubt Cusak has heard the ridicule about his Chicago cred. There is no way he was pulling Mike Squires out of his ass without having had his people research for him. Anyway, Squires was always a defensive replacement so that was the obscure, hipster reference. I think of the emergence of Greg Walker (and Kittle) as a rookie when I think of '83 first basemen.

That may have been the worst "You can't root for two teams" argument I've ever seen. His major point seemed to be "The pain is what makes it great to be a fan".

I can't think of a much more painful existence then being a fan of both the Cubs and White Sox and all the disappointment you've had to endure. It's not like he jumped to the Yankees or Red Sox. He jumped to both teams that are all time miserable baseball franchises.

And Cusack kept repeating that Squires was a "lefthanded first baseman" as if that were some rare thing. He probably meant "lefthanded third baseman" but if you're going to go hard at someone about your baseball knowledge you should have shit like that straight. I'm still not 100% sure if Cusack thinks a lefthanded first baseman is an oddity.

That said, if you're gonna call yourself "White Sox Dave" you shouldn't be using the excuse that a major part of Sox history was "before your time" so you don't know shit about it.

I give Cusack the win by split decision.

He'd play catcher sometimes as a LH, which is an oddity

first read that as "Play a catcher for LH" and thought you meant LoHo and Goff.

I remember him more as one of two lefty catchers I. My lifetime. Other was a Pirate I think. I was almost wondering if I had imagined it until Dolphin mentioned it. That is a bizarre fact that if you saw it and had any consistent exposure you’d remember it. Doubtful you’d buy a jersey though but whatever.

God, looked it up and it was only two games for squires and 3 for Benny Destifano.

Goff's at it again. He's on a spree making fun of people's appearances. Can't help himself. He's an entertaining listen but very fragile. He needs a different therapist.

Surprised he would take a shot at Jason Bernstein.
