And Mannelly isn't even in.

I can listen to Mannelly but he doesn't have the chops yet and requires far more seasoning than just the times he was with Meat and the thinking that "If we get a Bears guy in for Bears season we will go straight to the top!" Is silly thinking by silly men who should be fired. Is it just a Bears season thing? Or is this the real deal for long term? I will give it an off/on chance to see if Meat can actually drive/learn to drive a show now that he has everything set for him.

I'm not hopeful.

I've been staying away from sports radio since Mac left but I will tune in on Tuesday and see how the
show does the first week. I honestly haven't listened to much of Spiegs and Mannelly, just a few minutes
here and there. I am going to go in open minded but not very hopeful from what I have been reading on
here. It's music one more day and then a long weekend out of town so I will come back refreshed with

And for the record(!) I am holding out some hope that this show will click. I am as I spend plenty of time in my car around the 9-1 slot and need something good on the radio concerning sports.

We shall see.

Seems to be a belief around the station that Spiegs work during the past 7 weeks with 10 different people results in some strain on the mind and working of miracles, thus the extra time off is now deserved. Sound like it was exhausting, or was it actual work?

I'm giving Speigs a break on the extra vacation. Rozner is a compete tool - never shows up for production meetings, leaves transition early or doesn't do it, doesn't follow the topic, and repeats the same annoying phrases every five minutes. Abbatacola did whatever he wanted - not follow topics, restart conversations, interrupt. Had to be a little tough dealing with these two who were going to be your partner and essentially ignoring you as they tried to make themselves look good.
