I know Scottie has won there before, but if he doesn't fix his short range putting issues he hasn't a chance to get another green jacket.

Ok nice... Practice round? Always nice when the CFMB has some kind of presence there.

Im guessing after I say this he will miss the cut but Wyndham Clark might not be a bad play .

The way Clark performed in the Ryder Cup gives me pause to root for him at all. I know the US had plenty of turds all weekend, but he singlehandedly pissed away a chance at potentially two full points when he played the same par 5 like shit back to back days.

I'd keep an eye on the Irishmen (Lowry & McIlroy, who will team up at Zurich later in the year), Theegala, and Åberg.

If you're looking for a long shot, Corey Conners +9000 or recent LIV defector Tyrrell Hatton +7500

Schauffele is my pick outside of Scheffler and if he putts, it won’t matter.

Schauffele has to show he can close one of these out. I dont think itll happen at Augusta.

"This year" when? Hotels are probably pretty cheap in late July.

He probably has some litigation to handle at the state house of Maine.

After the general question of if anybody is going to the Masters, why would SS even answer if he was not going to the Masters? Unless he's some kind of July DiCaro misanthrope.

No big surprise here...

All indications are that Tiger Woods will play in the Masters next week.

What is good news for golf fans comes with one major question that has become the theme of Woods' pro golf twilight: how will the 15-time major champion's body hold up? Former Stanford teammate and longtime friend Notah Begay III says everyone will find out at the same time.

"He’s trying to formulate a strategy and approach that he can work within given the constraints that he’s presented with. And he’s got some constraints," Begay, now a commentator for NBC Sports, said on a conference call Wednesday. "He’s got zero mobility in that left ankle and really has low-back challenges now, which he knew he was going to have.

Attempt to play*

I think nearly everybody in the golf world would be mildly surprised if he is able to play 4 rounds.

DNA tests seem in order, but I’m not confident the Begay family would understand the exercise.

I guess we never really found out if Spiral Stairs was going to be on the grounds this week or just going to Augusta at some point this year. I hope it is to see the golf because Augusta itself is kinda one of the armpits of Georgia, and that is saying something. I was just going to throw out my pick for this year and one long shot. I am going with Koepka as my pick. He plays well here and has all the tools to bring it home. He never seems to care about much but I know he would love to be able to put on the green jacket and play here the rest of his career. Still love the way he plays the game. My long shot is going to be Chris Kirk. Real nice human interest story and a very good golfer who has the skills on the greens to play Augusta. Not a lot of high finishes in the past but I think this could be his year. Who you guys got?
