He still has a contract with Golf Channel (an NBC property) for his interview show. I would imagine they would love to expand his role to their tournament coverage.

As much as they could use him, I would hate to see him go to Fox, as they don't have nearly enough events and his talents would be wasted there unless they get the rights to more events.

I have no clue, but I can see Fox give him a bigger role and he will also at some point and time have his own show. I love him covering a golf tournament though. In my opinion, CBS has lot a lot of their personality over the years.

I just believe that Fox has this covered, it mentioned that CBS wouldn't match.

But Fox was soooo bad at golf coverage this year. I hope it was just first year things and them working out the kinks, but I did not like their coverage much at all.

David will land on his feet somewhere, but CBS covers so much golf in the summertime...it will suck not having him around as much.

Agreed. Fox golf coverage was an absolute train wreck.

Feherty could help that out a lot, they need some experience on that broadcast. The vast majority of that crew had never covered golf live on television.
