Wait, what? He had 3 heart attacks that same day?

Besides that one Saturday show I haven't heard anything from Hub. He's not even doing the Bears podcast anymore. Nothin in a week on Twitter.

They probably didn't pony up for Hub.

Brain dead Hub was still able to recognize that Fields sucks as a passer.

He certainly would be pushing back against the Score hosts narrative of Fields being great that’s for sure. It actually might make for some interesting radio. It’s too bad he’s not feeling up to it

Really?

It's hush hush. Arthur hasn't told Hub's heart yet, it's a private matter.

Hub doing his first show co-hosting for 3 hours with Gabe Ramirez. Has to be intentional it's not with one of the Score's vile perpetually offended SJW victim card playing trash hosts. GR's laid back sports talk ony style is a good match for Hub getting his feet wet coming back.

Yeah. I was in my car for an hour today. Nice listening to Hub.

I've ripped him through the years. Some of his thoughts on football are just ridiculous and stupid. And he's been a weezle through the years. But he makes some good points as well.

So overall, Hub is a nice listen every now and then. I'm glad he recovered from his 16 heart attacks.

Hub must be feeling a lot better. Came out with unheard of brutally honest Score Fields talk. Saying elite QB's inherently gifted not from coaching, Fields looks like no progress from OSU days, Bears WR's maligned to prop up Fields, took a shot at Fields (32nd rated passer) MVP talk, brought up Fields accuracy issues often ignored. Hub mildly clashed a bit with the first guest playing the Fields is a victim card

Is there a podcast for this show? I'd like to listen.

Edit: I found it. Damn, 5 minutes into the show Hub says Justin Fields isn't going to work out.

It's a cheat to call the recorded content a podcast, in my opinion, but in this world of fluid interpretations, who am I to say?

Used to get some solid Bears thoughts from the post firing Hub back in the day.

The thoughts of the McKaskey defending Hubster were often silly, but understandable given his family business depending on the McKasksey family business for content.

The smug SWJ Hub is the worst, cringeworthy takes on nearly everything, cannot pair him with likeminded SJW's, you need a meatbally dude like Olin to draw the best out of him.

It just sucks seeing how athletic he was back in the day

It makes me wonder when the last time he did cardio was. It never seems to matter how good of shape ypu used to be in, its always how often you try to stay healthy

If you're not an NFL passer after 28 starts... you might just not be an NFL passer.

That's another absolutely horrible idea/thought from Hub Arkush.

You don't sit him for a game or two. You play this out for 10 more weeks. You have no choice. You have to fully evaluate him before you move on.

Plus sitting him for a week or two will only make him more broken and angry at the Bears. Just a stupid idea. Week 14, if he's not at least consistently decent at that point, then fine, bench him. You can't do it now. That would be stupid.

Hey beardown, how different do you think Fields 31st start would be from his 27th start? Do you think he turns the corner after 40 starts? I guess we'll never know what he's capable of until he finally has a breakout game. Then we'll use that single game out of 40 other shit games and say hey we finally got ourselves a QB.

I know. I'm just saying it doesn't matter what he does. You just gotta see it for at least 13 games. You just invested too much in him.

Hopefully, in a silver lining, Fields playing bad will end up getting us the first overall pick and his replacement. The kid from USC.

Or he turns it around. Which doesn't look likely. But you still throw him out there.

Shit the Cult been doing that all week with “ He was great in the Pittsburgh game !!! “ as evidence he can throw with timing , hit open receivers , etc and it’s the coaching as to why he doesn’t do that anymore. It’s funny they don’t point to the Mitch Tampa game the same way though.

Don't worry rogue. There were Mitch defenders. There probably are still Mitch defenders. Fields is just more electric than Mitch so he gets people more excited. He also had a bigger name and pedigree coming out of college than Mitch did, so his fan base and profile is larger. The irony is Mitch is the better QB at this point but both aren't long term starters.

Hub must have cut his work schedule down because he's done like one Saturday show and one appearance on Parkins and Spiegs since the season started.
