I think there's a big reason why Bernsy threw cold water on these Bulls, and he is correct about all the injuries. During his weekly hit on The SCORE today w/Spiegs & LoHo, I heard Comcast SportsNet's Mark Schanowski mention that these Bulls have lost 77 manned games this season due to all the aches & pains. Schanowski's also starting to worry about Luol Deng's torn left wrist and the pain that he still has.

Yes, Illinois beat out Duke on Keene...and Jerry Gee who supposedly gave a silent verbal to Duke. Lost out on Scheyer. Did get Jereme Richmond.

So, nothing has really changed. Illinois still can get a "Duke" guy from Illinois sometimes. Illinois never has recruited nationally against Duke.

I've said it before recruiting Chicago is fools gold. Name the last great team that was built around Chicago talent. I don't mean one or two players like Rose. I'm talking about a team that turned recruiting the city of Chicago into titles.
