have returned to the show after playing bernstein computer simulated historical baseball. satchel paige strikes out babe ruth on 2 pitches, roy campanella throws out ty cobb every time and josh gibson is 21 for 22 against bob feller. not sure how he got tucker carlson to comment on a brawl between ty cobb and the tigers with the homestead greys.

the only player that does well against paige is hank greenberg.

Koufax walks Greenberg on four pitches and tips his cap.

At what point can this board be used as a barometer of public opinion? The reviews are overwhelming negative here. The only other visible faction is twitch, which has devolved into a circlejerk of the most boring people imaginable after they either banned/drove off anyone interesting. What the fuck keeps this station viable outside of tradition?

The board is an outlier, a minute sample size of hapless goofs that are interested in sports talk radio.

Fairly apparent that live sports play by play can drive ratings, you see an uptick in ratings at WSCR during Cubs season, makes sense because it is unique live content that you cannot find elsewhere.

It would seem that you would want your on air talent to be providing unique personality driven content and attempt to appeal to a general audience.

You would then find the most popular local team and attempt to secure their broadcast rights, then build around that interest level and try not to get bogged down in endless chatter that drives away large swathes of listeners, and never have your on air hosts telling people not to listen to your product.

That is why the WMVP model makes more sense at this point in time.

Are you trying to claim July's top rated 10pm show once or twice a week was driven by cubs lead in? No way
