If the decision is made to suspend somebody, doesn't that mean you should just fire them? Especially in this day and age.

Yep, Mitch hasn't had the ability to fire any on air talent in over a decade. When Mac got fired, that wasn't Mitch's call. This situation is likewise entirely out of his hands.

Dan also apparently threw Goff under the buss for the dumpster fire that was Bernstein & Goff, and who decided to save his own skin instead of try to defend his co-host McDoink when cuts were handed down.

Dan clearly has some temper and hate issues. His actions are inexcusable and he should be fired. Hopefully he can schedule a few more therapy sessions to help him understand where these hurtful feelings come from. This is 2025 and to threaten to dox someone is a sign of an insecure and unstable person. Dan needs help and I wish him the best in his next opportunity. Advertisers should boycott the Score unless he is fired.

As I understand it, successful radio/TV duos used their individual contract negotiating power to protect the duo, so each member in effect protected themselves and their partner. Dan said goodbye and good luck to McDoink, but he had gotten his and wasn't sharing.
