It's Friday, and "Boers & Bernstein" are on the road this afternoon with the "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour" at 191 South in Mokena from 1:15p-ish to 6p. There's a lot of ground to cover, along with some silliness called the "Tournament of Bad Championship Game" that'll be "tipping off", I think after 2p between the State of PA & the Italian Cruise Ship Captains, exclusively at tournamentofbad.com.

As for the sports itself, the guys will likely continue the latest soap opera that is Bears' RB Matt Forte and his contract status. There's yet another snag in the Tim Tebow deal involving the Broncos & Jets, but it appears to be a formality before #15 trades in Denver orange & blue for New York green & white, complete with a Monday press conference you know the guys can't wait to poke fun.

The Blackhawks' Duncan Keith is supposed to meet with NHL "Dean of Discipline" Brendan Shanahan this afternoon regarding a likely suspension for his hit on the Canucks' Daniel Sedin Wednesday night. Chances are better than even money Keith won't play Sunday night vs. the Predators. The Bulls' Derrick Rose & Richard Hamilton might be getting awfully close to returning to game action, but it won't happen tomorrow night in the second of a home-and-home with the awful Raptors at United Center.

If that's not bad enough, Vinny Del Negro's on borrowed time with the Clippers, who lost again last night to woeful New Orleans, and players think the second year Clippers' head coach has lost control of the locker room. Sound familiar?

There's also a questionable finish to the Wisconsin/Syracuse NCAA East Regional in Boston, an awful offensive showing for Michigan State in their West Regional loss to Louisville out in Phoenix, plus a Kentucky/Indiana rematch in Atlanta tonight in the South Regional highlighting the second night of the "Sweet 16". The NCAA Tournament continues tonight with the South in next year's Final Four city of Atlanta and the Midwest in St. Louis, featuring North Carolina & the ONLY "Cinderella" left in Chuck Swirsky's alma mater Ohio.

It's all on the table, plus perhaps more Penn State news sure to make Bernsy absolutely red with anger & a "Friday Fung" come 4p entitled "Live Ringers", whatever that is. The rundown for the Friday "B & B Show" is coming up.

A slight correction on my part...Tournament of Bad Voting "tips" at 1:30p, not 2p, exclusively at TournamentofBad.com.

If they're going to talk about which middle-aged female sportscasters get the Larry seal of approval, I'd rather they talk about basketball strategy again.

That reminds me...Where was Kerry Sayers today? I noticed Connor McKnight at the update desk...

Avoiding Larry.

"Michele Tafoya...she may be older, but she still gits it done. Keary, I think you know what I'm talking about."

Someday, someone will find evidence that Derrek Lee cheated on his SAT.

   When I hear that in the Friday open from Zach Zaidman, that's funny. Speaking of funny, where's sports funnyman Joe Bartosch these days?

I don't know who "sports funnyman Joe Bartosch" is, but the Joe Bartosch who did updates at the Score is over at 780 full-time now, right?

You are correct. He's there with sports anchor George Ofman & V.P. of Programming, also known as Bears' Radio studio host Ron Gleason.

I'd ask SHARK.

Apparently George made some huge verbal gaffe on BBM, but they wouldn't give B&B the audio clip.

I'd ask SHARK.

Just did...

"The Suit", SCORE Sports Director Brendan "Baldy McGrindy" McCaffrey, & Jason Goff are producing today's show at 2 Prudential, complete with "Dancing Fool" Matt Rodewald at the update desk. Brett Lyons is the on-site producer with Rich Wyatt engineering at 191 South.

The team of Hub Arkush & Matt Abbatacola will host the nighttime SCORE starting at 6p. Just like last night, the nighttime SCORE originates at Cube Sports Bar at Rivers Casino in Des Plaines from 6-10p. Joe Ostrowski & Connor McKnight will be at Cube tomorrow night, doing their weekend show from there, starting at 7p.

I'm afraid he's very real.

Did he just say "what's the status of my butt"?

Frankly, I hope we get Butt Status reports at the top and--if you'll pardon the expression--bottom of every hour.

Pretty sure that's the Bob from W&S that started was weeping on the air about some Chicago athlete. Derrick Rose, maybe?
