hey legend has it that a young bernie mac used to go on the brown line and work on his standup material with not just random people, but random people who were automatically like "WTF?!" when he started doing his schtick. i guess he figured if he could win them over he could definitely win over people who were paying to see him.
that said, i'm obviously taking the piss here as the british would say. the closest i got to actually doing what i said was that i had a period of time back in the "i need to convince myself that i could rap" phase where i'd just kind of sit in the back of the train and freestyle to myself, and quite a few times random people would come in and make it a cipher and it reaffirmed my faith in humanity just that little bit. by and large your perspective is the prevalent one and thus i'm not trying to go around and screw up other people's rides for the sake of validation/ego/etc. nothing good ever comes from someone who enters your car in between stations and starts off saying LADIES AND GENTLEMEN I'M NOT HERE TO ASK FOR MONEY.....
