the club is so poor that thinking of going from strength to strength...non-existent. they rally from 5 down against the tough cards in st. louis and come home to a lowly reds club. you'd think.....anyways, happ & wisdom a combined 0-9 with 5 strikeouts between them. castillo had a similar game like this about 3 weeks ago against the bosox in fenway, lights out.

Thompson & Steele will be interesting to see how they progress. Thompson looked lights out when I checked the game a couple times. Then lost it. Both are creations of pitch lab and data. Saddled with an organization who has a history of their drated pitchers being busts. Both seem not to have arm stamina to pitch a lot of inninings. Their total minors & MLB innings (KT 294 4½ yrs, JS 469 7½ yrs) make you wonder being babied so much how they'll transition to near 200 innings a year starters. Era '22 KT 4.57S, 1.38R. JS 4.59.

160 IP is the new 200. Eventually teams will go to six-man rotations at 27-28 starts, or go back to using multi-inning relievers the way the Cubs were using Thompson before all the injuries to the other starters.

I'll be at the game tonight about 8 rows back behind the RH hitter camera near the Cubs on-deck circle.

Probably in my 1970s Cubs road hoodie in the baby blue.

Look for a dashingly handsome white-haired man with a goatee that will win $5k if Morel gets 2HRs and 4RBIs.

What if he hits 3 HR with 7 RBI?

Will you be holding a sign that says VOTE KEN 2028?

Funny you say that.

I asked one of my friends to go but he's having hernia surgery.

I told him I'd hold up a sign that says "DR. KEN'S FRIEND (using his real name) GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR HERNIA SURGERY. GOD BLESS!!!"

Silvy did a great job talking about the 2 Cubs rebuilds (starts at 7mn.). Really well laid out. Talked about topics like the lies, deceit, and cons that are off limits to the Score & Marquee. Gave Boog's bs a nice shot.

Morel hit a HR. Sux because now they will use that to praise Heyward.

Almora looks different. Maybe it's the beard.

RBI double. He has pretty good numbers this year.

Free.

I don’t pay for stuff.

But based on the ticket $175/per x 4

Wisdom hits a grand slam.

This has to be the first Grand Slam in history that wasn't even called a grand slam.

Boog just called it as a regular homerun.

A REAL hometown broadcaster would actuall proclaim it as a Grand Slam.

Cmon, what a shitty announcer.
