Cant stand Hermodildo.

He doesnt even belong on a Major League team, but there is Boog hypin' him up. Useless player.

Hitting .102 with a .384 OPS. How the hell is this guy gettin' playin' time!!??

Boog, Dempster, Girardi doing their how players should be commended for going on the IL for possibly avoiding future longer IL time. They didn't address the staggering amount of IL days for many the slighted of injuries.

the cubs instagram is unintentionally hilarious. theyll post stories like,"2 run RBI Yan Gomes!" and then a bunch of charity shit, and then the last story is the final score of the cubs losing 9-2

Gomes is Marquee's current darling supplanting Wisdom's SO% going from 40.8 to 33.5 (MLB avg 23) Gomes is getting heavily praised for his handling of the pitching staff (21st era, 22nd whip) despite it's failings. His 80 ops+ is never mentioned.

At 5'6" he'll fit right in with Stroman.

The fact this guy is anywhere near an MLB roster is an insult to Cubs fans.

I kinda like guys like Esteban Quiroz get a shot at the bigs after playing for 11 years in the minors and Mexico. I bet he doesn't feel any entitlement and won't loaf. It's a tank season so wtf.

Good for him. I got nothing against a 30-year-old rookie getting a cup of coffee.

But, it makes me sad for the organization.

DAVID BOTE with the game-tying RBI and game-winnin' RBI tonight.

He hits for power (HR) and is a good situational hitter (Sac Fly).

Love that Ross continues to be loyal to him.

His numbers are quietly better than you'd think. .OPS around .740 or some shit.

Only thing, he has 36 K in 85 AB's this year. That's almost 1 every 2 AB's.

Not at the expense of Schwindel, a good player. Biatch please. FUCK Bully Hoyer.

Big game for Bote, a guy who definitely has to finish strong and have a good spring training to have any shot at a roster spot in 2023. They have avoided 100 losses at the very least. I really don't see the point in bringing up a guy like Quinoz. If you think a guy has a real chance to be part of the next core....Great. But that isn't the case and fans want to see the team win if possible. This is MLB, not Make A Wish.

Quiroz is there because they let Dixon Machado go to the Giants when the Giants had an injury run. Every major league team has a "break glass" infielder in AAA so they don't have to call up a guy too soon.

Grandpa 34 <.500 career. Couple more tank team with great chemistry years could topple leader at 70.
