The yanks have Stanton and that awful deal, Mers have Cano..both overcame terrible deals and win.

Yankees haven't been to the World Series since 2009, and the Mariners haven't made the playoffs since 2001. smh.

The yanks will win 100 plus this year, they've won hundred plus a couple times the last few years. One terrible contract shouldn't tank a ream..it is a cop out by Ricketts.

I agree. For a team like the Cubs, they can handle two or three bad contracts and still should be contenders.

The bar for the Yankees is different. Its World Series or bust for them nearly every year. 100+ regular season wins for them means nothing.

It sux that Bully Hoyer has littered Cubs history with a buncha usless 2-month players, and now we gotta call 'em ex-Cubs? Fuck them and fuck him.
