PCA has an objectively good skill set with his speed and defense. What he has yet to show and must show before becoming a quality MLB player is on base percentage. It is certainly a question mark right now, but it is way too early to lose faith.

The target for PCA is .240/.310/.410. That is about what Kevin Kiermaier did over ten years in Tampa (in a better league-wide hitting environment) before being a backup his last two years in Toronto and LA.

PCA right now is at .228/.283/.375 for his career. That's playable as a #9 hitter who should be getting PH for a lot and doesn't start against tough LHP. But he needs an extra single every other week going forward. His bunting is inconsistent and he really needs to improve on that to draw infielders in more even in two strike counts.
