Actually he became Aramis Ramirez, Kenny Lofton and cash.....so yeah, he was very valuable.

Sox drafted him first in 1999, but couldnt sign him from a 2nd round pick.

He was cannot miss. All he missed was pitch one two and three. Saw him hit a homer or two but he was awful.

I don't remember the thoughts on Pagel when he was drafted. Amateurs weren't covered the way they are now. But once he was destroying it in the minors, he was as big as anyone ever was.

Here's my Cliff Johnson story. One of my dad's good friends ran the visitor's clubhouse at Wrigley for years. He told me that Cliff Johnson was a kleptomaniac who stole ten bucks from a batboy's locker. Obviously, he didn't need the sawbuck. He just couldn't help himself. Everyone in there knew he did it too. I think he was a Pirate at the time.

I didn't see any more top 101 rankings before 2007. I did not include 2013 or 2014 as many players are still in the minors. Just me but I'll take the top 10 players. And you'll notice BP recognized with some players they were underrated and subsequently moved to the top 10.
