The pitcher the Cubs got in return for Soy Boy last summer is tearing it up in AAA...should be called up anytime now.

Did the Cubs finally develop a pitcher of their own?

I’d hardly claim this guy is “home grown” but he was great last year and appears to be pretty good again this year. Should t be long before he gets a big league look.

I guess he added 3-4 MPH to his fastball after getting traded to the Cubs. I use homegrown loosely

I think they will bring him up in August for a few starts after they trade one of their four veteran starters.
