This is more a problem with Hoyer then Counsell. If he had reliable guys he could count on and not have to piece together a bullpen every night his usage would be down. No solid 7,8 inning guys except Leiter and no closer. You want him to just let them tee off on the bum of the night?

Counsell had bullpen ADD in Milwaukee. Overusing bullpen arms is one of his features.
