http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/ba ... story.htmlCubs pitchers and catchers will report to spring training in Mesa, Ariz., on Feb. 19, with the first full-squad workout Feb. 25, the team announced Monday.
The Cubs also announced four more spring training games, on March 13-14 against the A's in Las Vegas, and on April 3-4 at Chase Field against the Diamondbacks.
The April 4 game ends spring training and means the Cubs will have no workout at Wrigley Field before their April 5 opener against the Cardinals, Joe Maddon's debut and the first night opener in Cubs history.
The Cubs will open Cactus League play on March 5 with a split-squad game at Cubs Park against the A's and at Scottsdale Stadium against the World Series champion Giants. They will play the White Sox in Glendale, Ariz., on March 20 and at home on March 27.
Meanwhile, work continued Monday at Wrigley Field despite a subzero wind chill, but the chances of the bleachers being ready by opening day appear slim because of early delays in the project.
