I don't mind "Chisox," as some of the old-timers used to use that term (and the "BoSox").

Apparently, many people called Chicago "Chi" in the '20s. I've only seen it in books (like The Natural). I remember kind of tripping over the word in Sherwood Anderstein (maybe it was him, maybe Dreiser...someone from back then) the first time I saw it. Seemed unnatural and weird.

Before students regularly used their college email addresses, I had a student whose name was kween_of_da_chi. She had another email that was something like TNAgurrrl@lycos.com. I kept deleting them because I figured it was spam, but she was like, "You didn't get an email from TNA girl?"

wasn't the current log/colors they have had for the last 30 years born out of the Raiders silver and black selling lots of merchandise due to those colors? All the gang bangers in L.A. at the time were buying up the silver/black color scheme?

I like the current scheme because the logo goes back to their old logo in the 50s. better than some of the shit they had in the past where they had phillies looking red in the 70s and some weird ass blue cub wannabe colors in the 60s.
