He should have been the ALCS MVP, but I guess Pauly deserved something after he was denied the 2002 All-Star game MVP because they didn't give one out for some reason due to the tie. I wish Hawk could call the playoffs, but Lou Piniella and Joe Buck are doing fine in spite of Timmy.

It will be tough to avoid the pitchers if they continue on this roll. I'll go with Buhrle but I would not be shocked to see an unprecendented 4 way split between all the starters.

Paulie Walnuts all the way. He's 8 for 18 (.444 clip) with 2 hr's versus Clemens (stats courtesy of my sun-times).

$50 on Crede at 17-1. Loving it right now.

If the Sox have to win the Series, I at least better make some money at this one.

Knock yourself out. All for a good cause.

I predicted 2-0 after Sunday with a couple of guys at work before we said goodbye for the weekend, but was short on the number of innings Pettite will survive as well as the win scenario in tonight's game (I was expecting more of a early 2-3 run lead throughout the game.) Pettite's knee shot up with cortizone held up better than I anticipated. Was right on on Clemens' hammy (and IP,) thanks to own bad experiences with.

As of today, Oswalt makes me nervous. So does Bobby. Hopefully Coop will start his Tony Soprano accented shrink job with him ASAP to get his brain straightened out before Game 3. Tonight he came in a little too high after kicking ass in Game 1.

I hate to even bring up the name , but Jay Mariotti might be really right on this one.

Sox gonna have to pony up bigger and bigger for Paulie every day.

if he comes through with one more game like this, Houston is going to offer him $18 M a year and the Yankees even more

As a Sox-hater, is this your way of trying to find a silver lining in the weekend's events?
