Anyone else find it coincidental that WSCR just “happened” to come to a decision on both their pre/post game host as well as their color man during key Bears moments? They announce Ronge right after the Bears clinch the division and a first round bye. Now they bring Singleton on board right before the playoff game. I understand that whoever Rooney’s replacement turned out to be would draw skepticism, but how about showing some faith and confidence in the people you hire? Instead, WSCR sneaks them in the back door at a moment when the focus is elsewhere.
For my sake and my fellow Sox fans, I hope Singleton & Ronge do a good job. But still, pretty lame on WSCR’s part. Make a decision and stand by it. What the hell are you so afraid of?
