John Schriffen's exuberance shtick is to praise guys on small sample size current hot streaks. When the hot streak inevitably hits a brick wall he just moves on to the next slug on a hot streak.

Gordon Beckham has a Larry Holmes weight problem going on.

He's trying hard to build excitement for a product that doesn't have any, so it comes off as extremely fake and unlikeable. If the record was reversed, and the team was 33-14 right now, the exuberance wouldn't be more justified.

Their golden boy Bennetti did the same thing for a team that was dogshit and they cant get enough of his jizz on their faces

When the team is bad you hear lots of talk about the announcers. Whoever is calling the game doesn't matter. When the team is good, the announcers are fine. When they are bad, the fans and sports media dolts find every reason to nitpick. Normal people typically don't care one way or another. The guys calling baseball on TV in this city are largely mediocre. The radio guys are a small step up, but still not great.

John Schriffen's stand-up act is a perfect mix to the '24 White Sox. It's hard not to like both for the entertainment they supply.
