What did Kenny Williams say that made you not be able to complete a sentence ?

Personally, I don't think Ozzie made his comment to refer to Mariotti as a homosexual - he used the word he chose as a way to cut down Mariotti - not unlike shitface, asshole, etc...

The problem that Guillen has is saying this publicly. He created this problem because now he's obviously pissed off a lot of people who feel that he put down the homosexual community.

The PC people out there were given a reason to go nuts because Ozzie didn't choose his words right, even if he didn't mean anything towards that community.

That was stupid as hell by Kenny. Makes me think twice about BigFan's info about Ozzie and Kenny's relationship. I would be pissed if I was Jerry, he is the boss and he has spoken, way to drag out the story some more

What Kenny said wasn't that bad. Maybe in was unneccesary. I'm a Sox fan. I love Ozzie and what he's done for this team. But he needs to learn not to do things like that. Maybe this was Kenny trying to get the message across. He later said that Ozzie "was good for baseball". In the paper he said that he and Ozzie were like brothers. This is the second time Ozzie's made the "f.a.g" comment. He can't do stuff like that. Calling Jay a "piece of garbage" is fine and more insulting. He can be the same Ozzie without offending groups. I do agree with the above when you say most Sox fans don't care and some love him more for stunts like this past week. I'm pretty confident Ozzie has learned his lesson.

Kenny and Ozzie have a great relationship now (Or maybe they did until this latest episode)

What I said about Kenny is that he was going to hire Cito Gaston instead of Ozzie. He wanted Cito, but the problem was Cito wasn't sure if he wanted to come here, he wanted some decent money and Reinsdorf wanted Ozzie.

Kenny's marching orders were , "Unless you are sure we can get Cito for X $ or you can not live with trying Ozzie on a 2 year deal, Ozzie Guillen will be the next manager"

Kenny then has a meeting and says "after talk to Ozzie for 2 hours I am convinced" LOL Maybe Nas could have got the job too if he had 2 hours of Kenny's time? lol

Remember when Kenny said "AJ was not a good for this team" and then 3 weeks later he said 'I talked to some people, he's OK"

What happens in front of a propped backdrop with 6 bright lights and a camera rolling isn't always what is necessarily said and done before and behind the scenes.



Just because Kenny looks to be talking tough for the BooYas, doesn't mean that he and Ozzie didn't discuss everything before hand and make sure that things were clear about how a professional team is supposed to act and behave.

I can see Jerry patting Ozzie on the back, laughing and saying, "Ozzie, you know I think you were dead-on with what you called that putz, but you just can't say that in front of cameras. Have a cigar."

Exactly Hawkism. Do you really think Jerry and Kenny give two shits that Ozzie's tearing down Jay Mariotti, whom the both of them hate? Kenny gave that interview just to get the PC police off the team's back...Ozzie's goin nowhere folks.

You might not think so...however don't be suprised if big ol' Jimmy O'Herlihey, Tyrone Washington, Pedro Sanchez or Stas Dombrowski is not everything you think he is. People leave Cork and Kerry every night and end up in places you would never expect.

The demographic is between 1-10% of the population. It is most likely between 1-10% of EVERY population in this country.

Ok...well going off what you just said, why dont you be thicker skinned and not worry about what Kenny had to say? You cant have it both ways.

I understand what Kenny said probably isnt the best way to come to your managers defense while slightly letting the world know, yes the White Sox are still in control of Ozzie, but why even worry. We all know Kenny likes to be a little over dramatic at times, so dont even pay attention.
