Only the White Sox would keep trotting out Miguel Vargas (.117 career ba 214 ab with the team).

The run differential is so much better. I'm serious when I say just start throwing strikes and the wins will show up more often. As an example, Sox reliever intentionally walks dude in the 10th with one out to set up the double play or a force. He proceeds to walk the next guy. It's inexcusable and I don't get it why it's excusable. The kid should have had his head cut off on the mound.

They should give Vargas more time, but Ramos will likely get called up if he shows a pulse. Neither is likely the answer though.

Ethan Katz must be the new front office/ownership spy. There is zero reason this guy should have a job in MLB.

Brooks Baldwin sucks, and Jacob Amaya has like 13 total bases this season. Ramos can do no worse.

Jerry isn't even trying to put MLB caliber guys on the field. MLB should step in and take the team away from him.

You don't see many non pitchers like Vargas in White Sox history with 200+ ab hitting .117. They never make 200+ before their dumped. Martin Maldonado is at .119 but below 200 ab. Hard to find others besides these two.

Best D-WAR, 1st in doubles and 4th in RBIs on the team. Understand that isn't saying much but it is something.

Only the White Sox would pay more to trade for Miguel Vargas than just take Tommy Edman for a year instead.

Vargas is going to lose time to other options (whether they are good or bad) if he doesn't start performing soon.

They just don't have many options and having a top prospect at every position is probably not realistic. It goes to show how far away they are from competing if they don't complement the MLB team with actual talent. Probably a major flaw to assume young talent will prosper without talent around them. Sure, possible, but much more likely if they some legitimate talent already here.
