You said it can't be used to compare different positions. MLB says that's the whole point of the stat.
I still don't see why you can't compare it year to year though.
No what I said was its not a perfect 1:1 comparison especially when you throw in different positions, different leagues, different seasons and different amounts of games.
It's one of those gray areas you seem to not like.
But if you think its too flawed to be useful, that's cool. I disagree.
