TLR is an odd kind of fat. He’s got a belly going, but it’s higher than the typical beer gut. He looks like a guy with a pillow under his shirt. Or his liver is so enflamed it’s somehow wrapping around his entire torso. |

Doesn’t madrigal have to actually be good first? But Kimbrel does suck. Little doubt about that. |

Just like the Chapman trade. I can't see this team winning three playoff series the way the bullpen has been the whole year |

Frank Coztansa wrote:  Yes, lets blame Kimbrel when the offense has put up a grand total of 1 run the last 21 innings. Guy can’t throw strikes. That’s pretty important. If he’s only successful when the offense is clicking, he may as well be Matt Foster. |

I'm not praising Kimbrel, but the offense is to blame for this skid. |

Of course we focus on our own guys failing. It's like when Soriano was actually the best defensive left fielder in the NL but Cub fans thought he was terrible. That's because their focus was on his hopping and odd routes rather than how much worse the other 14 guys were. |

Nobody aspires to be the tallest midget. |

Nobody aspires to be the tallest midget. Well, performance can only be judged relative to the guy you're performing against. There's a reason there are very few good defenders in left field. If they were good defenders they'd be playing somewhere else. |

K, but throwing a ball 10ft outside with a guy on third seems like an objectively bad performance. |
