I can't afford any of that stuff. I am, after all, a mulleted trailer dweller.

Another fantastic post! I love talking sports with Cub fans. How are those Cub World Series shirts selling?

I guess this guy missed the articles about how the Sox Series is the second best seller of merchandise behind Boston's. Go ahead and say that the Cubs would be the best seller because it's not going to happen. Go lick sack back in fantasy land.

LOL! great post Al. There's nothing more pathetic than a bitter Cubbie fan.

Can you link that? The article that stated the Sox was the 2nd biggest Merchandising World Series?

Does that include Venezuellan T shirts?

Third largest.

Quote:
"Major League Baseball has been working its Sox off.

White Sox merchandise has been a top seller ever since the team switched to the eye-catching black and white logo back in 1991, but now that the South Siders have won the World Series, the league can barely keep up.

"We sold a ton of [World Series] products, and we're going to produce more because the fans want more," said Howard Smith, MLB's senior vice president of licensing.

Although the league does not reveal how much money it has made or how many items it has sold, Smith said Sox World Series products have emerged as the "third-greatest hot market" following the 2000 Yankees/Mets subway series and the 2004 Boston Red Sox."

So what are you saying? Venezuellan merchandise should not count? It is somehow inferior to American merchandise? The two should be segregated and counted separately?

Perhaps instead of bigfan, you should log in as Gay Hitler. You have already demonstrated an appetite for censoring material that you do not agree with (poor, poor LG) and now you have shown yourself to be a racist. We tolerate your homosexuality - can't you be more tolerant of other nationalities and points of view?

Carl, Balls and LG sure seem to think alike and post alike and usually around the same times, with the same comments, what postings did you feel big fan removed of yours that we needed to hear. We are all listening. or at least I am.

Honestly, BF, do you really think that logging in as "left wing" is going to keep people from uncovering your true homoerotic fascist tendencies?

Hello, hello. For the absolute last time, I am not "Carl Cremjeans", nor am I "The Balls" or "Dutchie's Meaty Balls". Big gay boy can clear this up if he so desires. Besides, I would never call Bigfan a "Gay Hitler". He may be a queer, dick humping, douchebag, Cub fan (redundant?), but I find it hard to believe he's a member of the Nazi Party. Anyway, I respect his smarts and originality. Good luck with that local business guide BF. Maybe if things work out you can simultaneously make the covers of "Forbes" and "Out" at the same time.

Now, for my own contribution:

Local Fantasyland (I mean this in the sense that it doesn't exist, but for all I know it could be a bar or store in boystown that Bigfan just happens to "run across" as he puts it). Tons of Cubs World Series Gear 50-75% off.
Keep dreaming assholes. Wait, since I'm talking to Cub fans, keep dreaming of assholes.

This happens with every championship team in every city in the country. There is always an abundance of championship crap still left over 3 weeks after the games are done because they overproduce this stuff.
