In talking about Bobby Jenks's spring training woes, Chris Singleton said, "Bobby's gonna be fine, he's a good kid and he's got the right head on his shoulders."

Thank goodness, I wouldn't want him to have SOMEONE ELSE's head on his shoulders.

Who's he crappin'

I don’t even care about Singleton. He’s DJ without the Visine prescription. It’s Farmer that’s going to turn me off. Once the Sox announced it was Farmer and “broadcaster to be named later”, I pretty much knew I’d be listening to the radio broadcast on a very limited basis.

I'm listening to the game right now against Colorado, and I'm convinced that anyone who can read could do Singleton's job, mainly because that is EXACTLY what he is doing. His insight into the games is limited at best.

Speaking of reading cue cards, has anybody seen BJ Armstong on any of the ESPN NBA shows? Good Lord, it's painful...

Holy shit they can't keep letting Singleton do play by play. He is brutal. He sounds so scared as he just barks out the calls. You can tell he's trying so hard to call the action correctly. Man you know he sucks when your begging for Farmer to take the mic. I feel bad for all the young guys in broadcasting school who work for jobs like this. And stiffs like Singleton get it. That sucks.
