On the last lay-up attempt by Rose (he was fouled) he takes it to the rack from the left side, yet puts the shot up with the right hand. Poor fundamental play. |

Try again. Wrong-he should have taken the contact on the right, while protecting the ball and shooting with the left. He was not going out of bounds, he was just shooting a lay-up....with the wrong hand. Rose is very special in so far as his ability to explode to the rack and create off the dribble, but he sometimes makes mistakes a good H.S. player would avoid. Throwing passes while jumping is another faux pas he is guilty of far too often. His turnover rate is too high. He does things few others could do, and some that should be avoided as well. |
