Anyway, these questions are more about how you view yourself rather than how you actually act. It would be better to have others who know you answer the questions for you. The test result really only speaks to your idealized self rather than your actual self.

This describes me. I guess that's why I was only an extrovert by 1%.

INTJ, with only a slight preference toward introversion. (Then I think the test scored me as a judgmental bastard. When the shoe fits... )

I have a slight preference toward Innervisions, but still consider Talking Book a masterpiece.

I was over 80%. I'm not sure if that is a surprise.

When answering questions, they should be filled out as what you act like at home, not at work.

Bumping this to say that the last few times I've done this, I've wound up firmly with INFJ. Is this a sign of personal growth?

Anyone else here not chime in yet?

INTP from way back. Funny how a bunch of internet trolls are all Is. The Keirsey temperament sorter is a variation on this and really good. Keirsey has a book queerly entitled Please Understand Me but it really excellent, and includes the test. I had my wife do it before we "got serious" and she blew me away in the interview. Heh. ESFJ. Opposites attract according to the book. And other sources.

I have always still been INTP, but have been moving away from T and towards F over the last couple years.

I'm an INTP- they seem over represented on this board compared to the overall population.

I'm not disputing that, but a thing to consider is that it is a very common type and people taking the test on this board are more likely to answer honestly as we aren't interviewing for a job or in the psych ward. That was poorly worded, but maybe you got the gist.

Took the test again and apparently some things changed. My answers to some questions were stronger than others. The only thing that is a no doubter is the J. That was true last time. Not sure what that means. Maybe the experts can enlighten me.

ISTJ

Introvert(11%)  Sensing(1%) Thinking(12%)  Judging(89%)

You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (11%)You have marginal or no preference of Sensing over Intuition (1%)You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)You have strong preference of Judging over Perceiving (89%)

Looking at the Myers-Briggs site even the J may be off a little. The following are things that describes a P and on the scale of 1-10 these things would be a 10 or very close to it for me.

I am stimulated by an approaching deadline.
I like to stay open to respond to whatever happens.
I work in bursts of energy

Quote:
INTP is one of the less common types in the population, especially for women. Among women, INTP is the fourth rarest type (after INTJ, ENTJ, and INFJ). INTPs make up:

3% of the general population
5% of men
2% of women

being an INTP I can verify, there aren't a hell of a lot of people like me around. they usually like to avoid detection too.
