He never will.

In this case I thought he would have some appreciation for Chicago fans and to honor Stern and Kobe.

Any Bulls narrative this weekend has been #FireGarPax. MJ was just doing us a favor. Beardown is an ungrateful fuck.

Very ungrateful, very naive.

You've been watching him way back when white women wouldn't pay attention to you, quite a while.

The man became internationally famous and rich with a certain mindset. Did you think he might decide, "this isn't working for me", and change?

They still don't pay attention to me.

Yeah, I thought he might have changed after 20 years when he didn't have a ball in his hands on the dribble. But you're right. And I'm wrong, obviously.

Watching documentaries of Jordan showed he was a pretty likeable guy as a player.

Most players even if jackasses during their careers turn out to be caring good dudes in retirement.

Jordans been a pretty big dickhead for 20 years now. Shit, even rodman is pretty bro. Dennis fucking rodman.

Hopefully he can redeem himself somewhat by speaking at Kobe's memorial.

I told all my friends I was just gonna come up here and say how sorry I am about Kobe and walk off. I can’t. There’s no way. I have a little bit to say about Kobe's legacy. And mine. When Kobe first came into the league all I heard about was this kid from Philadelphia who is the next me. I’m thinking, "Well, I'm still me so how can he be me?" Is that some type of media exposure? You know I had to earn my way into the league by winning a championship at North Carolina and being the best college player in the nation. I wasn't anointed. Nobody handed it to me. So Kobe Bryant became another dot on my board. And when I got the chance to meet Kobe on the basketball court or in person – Kobe was a great person, it wasn’t a fault of his. It was just that my competitive nature – I didn’t think that he could beat me, or he was better than me as a basketball player. And he became like my little brother. He acted like me, tried the best he could to play like me. He couldn't quite get there, but he tried. So him dying is sort of like a lesser me dying. And that really hurts.

I'm actually shocked Magic Johnson, Doctor J, and the other legends didn't try to convince MJ to show the hell up.

MJ is just a jerk for this move.

We all know he hated Jerry Krause. He's dead. MJ and Reinsdorf had a good relationship from what I've understood. And he should like Bulls fans who worshiped him.

It would have been a nice moment if he came out, spoke to the crowd and got a great ovation. But he said "Fuck it".

It's not about the ones in attendance. It just would have been cool for Chicago fans watching on TV. It would have been cool for all NBA fans watching.

But fucking MJ doesn't have any grace, respect or sentimentality. To not come was a dick move.

Once again, thanks for the 6 titles. But you're a complete ass hole for this.

It was a "Fuck you" to Chicago and the NBA. And I don't know why he has this attitude at this stage in his life. He shouldn't.

Because he's always had this attitude about everything. He hasn't changed at all.

He's just not playing basketball now.

If the team were not an embarrassment he would show up, but its not great to be associated with the Bulls.

All the great players come to all star games. No matter where it's at.

This was in MJ's city. His team. And he passed. That's wrong.

I know he's rich and famous and can do whatever the hell he wants. But it's shameful. Nobody in Jordan's life will tell him that. But I will.

Well it'd be easy to deflect that - he's not responsible for the current crap product. What would be hard is to avoid being associated with the equally crappy operation he's actually in charge of (the Hornets).

He's not doing any favors for the Bulls by showing up. I'm not sure how Hornets ties would be a part of yesterday. Even if he did do any media, no way anyone there would bring it up.

What an absolute jack ass for not showing up for all star weekend in Chicago. patriot.

100 year old Bill Russell is here. Doctor J is here. Then Magic Johnson does the tribute to Kobe and David Stern. Jordan should have done that. Or a combination of Jordan and Magic.

What the hell does Jordan have going on that he couldn't be here? This was announced 2 years ago that it would be here.

Show up for your Chicago fans, MJ. And show up for Kobe and David Stern. Jack ass.

He was here dumbass. Friend of mine was having a staycation at the Pennisula and she posted a photo of MJ in the lobby.

I don't care that he was fucking here, dumb ass. My point is go to the god damn game where everybody can see you. Take the mic and say some words.

The fact that he was here to throw some exclusive party for his fellow rich and famous friends means nothing to me. He does that all the time. This was the all star game in Chicago and he should have been at the damn game.

I'm right.

I remember Jordan's retirement ceremony. I think it was on TNT or ESPN. At the United Center. Or maybe the stadium.

Either way, people showed up for him. Famous people.

He's 57. He can no longer dunk over Ewing on a spin move at the baseline.

I know he goes through life expecting everybody to bow to him. And everybody does. I get that. As he runs his shitty Charlotte team. Team that's been shitty for all the time he's owned it.

But there has to be something in his brain, at his age, to maybe show appreciation as well.

He doesn't. I didn't mind him being an asshole in his 20s and 30s. Cuz it was about winning. He needed that edge to be great.

Now, what's the point?

He's a jerk. Nobody else in his life will tell him that. But it's true.

There's no more wars to fight, MJ. You won life.

I think he's a dumb guy for not realizing this.

Jordan probably still has PTSD from Juanita jumping in front of his limo and ruining his life by giving him buster, non-elite-athletic kids.

That or his hot Cuban wife doesn't want him to go anywhere near Juanita's crazy ass.

I get what you're saying. Good point. You're right.

I just thought he would have changed when he got older. Obviously, no. He's gonna be the stone cold killer son of a bitch until the day he dies. He doesn't give a shit about anybody or what they think. It's all about him.

Good for him where you can be that way and suffer no ramifications.

He wants to make money. So even though the Hornets suck, I assume they make money for him. And he's fine with that.

As a player he wanted to win more than anybody. As an owner making money is the win.
