the good news for the Niners about that last Ravens drive taking almost 7 minutes of game time is that going into the 4th quarter that's the longest Purdy has gone this game without throwing an interception.

Interesting to see how quickly KC has declined and watch Kelce and Mahomes behave like spoiled children as you see the impact of paying three guys (Mahomes 17%, Clark 12%, and Kelce 7%) almost 40% of your cap space.

Mahomes was very Fields like yesterday. He had open receivers but wasn't pulling the trigger. Nagy effect?

She'll be the first rat to jump off the sinking ship. Mama Kelce should bitch slap her and get a song out of it.

how you gonna lose to a team whose entire offensive output consisted of 6 points off FGs on 219 totals yds (157 on the ground + 62 passing on 9-21)

Raiders last 3 games:

lost to the VIkings 3-0
beat the hapless Chargers 63-21
beat the Chiefs 20-14 on 2 FGs + 2 pick/scoop sixes

oh, they also converted a 2 point conversion against KC, so I guess 8 pts total offensive scoring.

Swift already scheduled shows in Japan during Super Bowl week, right up to/including Saturday night before in Tokyo. So she wasn't planning on a Chiefs Super Bowl this year.

Maybe not but the show starts at 6pm, Tokyo is (I believe) 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, it is about a 12 1/2 hour flight, and her next show isn't until the following Friday, in Australia. So seemingly she could make it if she was so inclined.

How Mahomes has looked the last few weeks is how his career would of went if the Bears had drafted him.

A series of tests revealed that Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson tore both the ACL and MCL ligaments in his right knee during the team's 30-24 loss Sunday to the Detroit Lions, coach Kevin O'Connell said Tuesday.

That's what the Vikings get for hiring the Chargers physician who (mis)treated Tyrod Taylor as their head of strength and conditioning:

Kirk Cousins torn Achilles

Cam Akers torn Achilles

Justin Jefferson hamstring

Addison high ankle sprain

Hockenson torn ACL and MCL

Wonnum torn Quad

Jordan Hicks leg injury

Brian O'Neil Ankle injury

Byron Murphy injury

pretty much every american holiday from september to february now has an nfl component to it. There was as much football watching at christmas eve and day as thanksgiving

NBA, which previously owned christmas day, was held in about the same esteem as premiere league over the weekend

People are beginning to understand that the NBA is rigged in favor of the superstar players, outcomes are almost predetermined.

The NFL still has its share of surprise outcomes making it actually far more entertaining than watching Embid, Doncic, Durant, Jokic and LeBron trod to the free throw line when someone breathes on them.

The NBA has turned into soccer with guys flopping, bitching, and moaning at the refs if they do not call a foul.

Tell me where I'm wrong. Have you watched the NBA lately?

You are seeing the impact paying the QB has on rosters, you get a window that only lasts a year or so to load up on FA's and make a run at the end of the rookie deal. Teams like Philly and KC had to cut cap room and you can see how life looks with inexpensive FAs filling numerous slots, they also lose depth players and cannot withstand injuries.

This is likely having some influence on the Bears decision, but there is also the very real possibility that Fields will not want to sign a second deal with the Bears and then you are left with nothing.
