That Sweaty Josh money just kicked in and it's a great WR draft.

That's not what's killing them. Paying 20 million a year for a fossil at EDGE is the problem

Why isn't Adonai Mitchell being mentioned with the top WRs in this draft? This kid was smoking some of the elite secondary guys, and he scored a touchdown in every BCS game he played in. I heard some rumblings about some off the field issues, but I believe Nabers had some, too, and no one gives a fuck. What say you college football watchers?

McCarthy punting on being at the draft makes me believe he won't be a top 5 pick.

I actually like seeing guys stay home with their families & friends. I view it as a sign of character and hope I make the same decision if I’m ever invited to the draft as a potential first round pick.

Well, I would say the agent fee qualifies.

Yeah that all sucks. But the two things that are worse is that many still want more and the money that they collect is poorly spent.

Sure but as I’m sure you also know, nobody with that kind of income and a decent financial advisor pays anywhere close to that. This is just fun with numbers.

Well, I am a CPA. There are very few ways for W-2 employees to mitigate income taxes. Your HSA and 401(k) contributions are capped. Most deductions are phased out (think IRA). Tax planning largely comes with after tax money. He will pay those income taxes.

Isn't most of FICA capped / only taken out of income < $200K? That's why later in the year your income goes up.
