I love when guys retire to spend time with the family and then go back to playing a year later. The ultimate "fuck you, family"
Well its a great life being a pro athlete and its a good life being a coach. Why do you think so many guys coach after they are done and have made millions. Its something to do thats kinda fun and easy, plus it actually pays well.
This falls into the category of guys I know who always work late or on Saturdays. Its the ONE thing that the wife will not bitch at them for doing. ANYTHING else that would take away from quality doing nothing time with the family would be seen as taboo, but being at the office is approved. Got one guy that stays until 6 or 7, 4 nights a week and admits that 75% of that time is porn and fantasy sports....in his own words "When else can I do this stuff?"
