The Raiders are in that position where they have to overpay for talent to prove that they're serious about contending. We've seen it in town with the Cubs (2007: Soriano, DeRosa, Lilly, Marquis) and Blackhawks (2008: Campbell, Huet, Sopel). |

Did I read this right? Did the Eagles just give Bradford $18MM a year last week and just gave the great Chase Daniel $7MM a year? Say what you will, but imo Philly fans are getting exactly what they deserve across the board.

They are only guaranteed to be in OAK for the next year and dudes are signing multi-year contracts. 2-3 years ago most top free agents had no interest, but that's not the case anymore.
