Hopefully he doesn’t surround himself with a cancerous entourage like Lebron.

The entourage are now millionaires all. And aside from the Decision, helped keep him from making newly rich kid mistakes.

Was it really the entourage that did that?

The last thread like this (Lonzo) isn't going so well. In fact it might be the worst thread in the history of the NBA section.

It'd be like creating a thread for colored paper clips - who gives a shit.

I agree to a point, but the contrived Lebron to mogul transition has had a lot of cringeworthy moments.

Plus, I can’t prove it, but the aneurysm inducing non stop Lebron coverage on espn has to be in part pushed by Lebron’s camp.

Good lord man.

You do see how the failure of Lonzo is part of the appeal of that thread right?

Also, the last thread like this is the Luka thread.

Do better.

Lots of cringeworthy moments yeah, but I see this from a perspective of wanting virtually all these young guys too succeed. And yes, I realize how syrupy that sounds.

Loss of Freshmen still hasn't effected the quality of college hoops though.

The Melo thread is the worst, but I think that was a B&B thread.

somewhere between Blake the second and Oden 2.0...can play the way Blake/Zion did/do in a 30 game, 2 games a week college season but in an 82 game NBA season with back to back games every other week? Williamson couldn't even make it through a college season or Summer league without missing games due to lower-body injuries.

This opinion is not going to age well at all.

Mostly just my own paranoia, but he’s going to have to be extra great to live up to these expectations.

looked good last night, a few thunderous dunks, some nice twisting layups and some good passes. Only weakness was his 3 ball which honestly looks like he is shooting while trying to hold in a poo.

Next Derrick Rose - physics won't allow his body to do some of that stuff. Will be spectacular then deteriorate quick.
