The game was never really in doubt since the 1st quarter. Jokic absolutely dominated the Heat without taking a shot the first 10 minutes. Clinic.

Denver was in control most of the game. Miami also missed a lot of shots. Martin, Robinson and Straus went a combined 2-23. The 20 to 2 free throw disparity was a factor as well. Great officiated game though.

Game 2 will be interesting, especially if Herro is back. I thought the big difference in Game 1 was Gordon versus Martin and Vincent in the paint in the 1st quarter. He was abusing mismatches.

they're a worse team with Herro. Last time he suited up the Heat got pantsed by my Atlanta Hawks at home in the first round of the play in tourney.

It just seems like the Heat need everything to break their way AND for their opponent to shoot like shit. I don’t see a world where Jokic is playing and the Nuggets shoot as poorly as Boston.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Denver won every game by 10+ and joined the 2005 White Sox on the Mt. Rushmore of dominant champions.

Refereeing seemed suspect, but not as suspect as Denver's MANY lapses on defense.
