What's your Top 5 point guards currently playing?

Has Westbrook surprised you, or did you see it coming?

Russell Westbrook has not surprised me at all. Dude is the goods.

1. Derrick Rose
2. Deron Williams
3. Russell Westbrook
4. John Wall
5. Rajon Rondo

You got Westbrook ahead of Derrick? Really? I like Westbrook alright, but Derrick is like a top-five player in the league.

No Rose is not a top 5 NBA player. He is having a great season but let's not get carried away.

So you add Perkins and Nate Robinson, subtract Jeff Green, Kristic.

I like Perkins and Ibaka banging the boards. Defending.

Pretty sure they got better here.

Didn't they add Nazr too?

They did get better.

I know Perkins is depressed about leaving his buddies behind but this is gonna be a good situation for him. They won't win anything this year (because of Dallas), but next year is a tossup in the West. Likely they'll be the favorites though.

That's some straight up Sam Smith shit

Westbrook will fall in line if he's smart

Regardless OKC is going to the Finals this year

Is JA not reading anything? Curry for Russell was one of the top trade suggestions of the past 24 hours.

It's not Sam Smith shit though. He's not saying it will happen, just that it should. I agree with JA that Westbrook doesn't fit in there and likely won't fall in line. They need a PG like Rondo who can do everything on a basketball court except shoot. Harden could become an All Star caliber player and Durant can feel free to take over down the stretch without worrying about another ego. They need to get fair value for Westbrook, or close to it, if they deal him though.

I am on board. They appear to be the only hope of preventing the Heat from winning a title.

you wouldn't give the Spurs a chance if they made it ?
i think the Thunder have a better chance and are on the same level as the Heat , but I'd give the Spurs a decent shot were they to make it

No one in the East is beating the Heat.

I don't think the Spurs are getting past the Thunder, so therefore the Thunder are the only chance at stopping the Heat.

I think you're definitely underestimating the loss of Bosh. And it's just silly to say the Spurs appear to have no chance. They should be the favorites to win the whole thing right now.

With or without Bosh I do not think anyone in the East can stop them. I really hope I am wrong.

I never said they Spurs do not have a chance, just think the Thunder are better.

If the Spurs beat the Heat I am completely fine with that.

You are reading more into what I wrote than is there.

Is it really that out there of an opinion to think the Thunder are going to get to the finals over the Spurs? Thus making the Thunder the only chance of beating the Heat?

I consider this a pretty "out there" opinion. No big deal.

Except that the Lakers did, and won a playoff series, to boot.
