Last year's winner, the Clippers' Blake Griffin, was an impromptu guest near the end of an interview Dan Patrick had yesterday with Chris Paul. Read between the lines, and Blake's not so sure he'll be jumping over a KIA like he did a year ago at All-Star Weekend... |

This year it's Iman Shumpert from the Knicks, Paul George from Pacers, Derrick WIlliams from TImberwolves, and Chase Budinger from Rockets. Also, and I will say a Dumb idea, the dunk contest is down to 1 round (3 Dunks) and fan's vote for the winner. Fans should never have been allowed to vote, because since Lin will be helping Shumpert, there's a good chance Shumpert wins. Guys like WIlliams and George could be great in this and 3 great dunks, but with Linsanity going, just give it to Shumpert today. |

Well, that and the fact that there are only so many different ways to dunk a ball before it gets repetitive. They probably should've shut it down after the 2000 contest with Vince Carter, because nobody has come close to touching that performance since. |

But what I think happened was people thought "Wow, ince killed it. The Dunk contest is back! Everyone will step up their game now." Not so much. Somebody should jump over a baby this year... |
